Accommodation

Polcraig Guest House is located in a very peaceful spot, on the hillside, centrally, in Lochinver Village, just a few minutes' walking distance from the shops and restaurants. Because of it's situation, the building has been constructed in a unique way, on three different levels; so there are lots of steps leading up to the front door where the hall and reception area are located on the middle plane. Inside there is a short stairway of seven steps leading up to the top floor, and an identical stairway of 7 steps leading down to the lower floor.

The upper floor accommodation consists of one twin en-suite room, two double en-suite rooms, and one single en-suite room. The lower floor accommodation comprises of one twin en-suite room and one double en-suite room, in addition to the dining room, and kitchen.

Underneath the house, and reached by an outer door, is a very large basement. This part of the building is accommodation to the central heating unit, and it is also used for storage, a drying room, and laundry operations.

Our personal accommodation is accessed directly from the front hallway.
