There is no golf course in Lochinver but we are well within reach of Helmsdale Golf Club, Brora Golf Club, Golspie Golf Club, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Bonar Bridge Golf Club, Ullapool Golf Club, and Durness Golf Club. At Durness one hole has for its fairway, the Atlantic Ocean, in other words drive your ball over the bay as there is no alternative route. A lovely but daunting challenge and if you duff the drive you may find your ball when the tide goes out!!!
