From Inverness, drive north on the A9 across the Kessock Bridge. Follow the dual carriageway to the first roundabout, 6 miles further on at Tore. Take the second exit on your left from the roundabout and enter the A835, Tore/Ullapool/Ledmore Junction road. This route will take you to the next roundabout at Maryburgh. Here leave by the 2nd exit on your left and continue your scenic journey north west on the A835 road to the village of Ullapool, some 45 miles ahead.

You may wish to take a break at this busy fishing port & ferry terminal for the Western Isles.

Refreshed, head north along the A835 to Ledmore Junction, some 19 miles ahead. Here turn left and join the A837 to cover the remaining 19 miles to your accommodation in Lochinver.

Polcraig Guest House is situated centrally in the village. Travel along the seafront until you reach the village hall. Turn in alongside the hall and you will see our blue & white information sign directly in front of you. Drive up to your accommodation at Polcraig, the large house on the hillside, where a warm welcome awaits you.
